Vasi learned to cook and bake at a very young age in her grandmother' kitchen in Greece. Her mother's talent fostered and encouraged this early interest. At age twelve, Vasi cooked and hosted her first dinner party. After graduating from high school, her love of cooking led her to Europe where she studied the culinary arts. There she learned to cook the finest cuisine of each country.

In the 1980’s Vasi began her Catering Business in Los Angeles where she catered for many celebrities from the film and music industry and at famous health retreats.  A thriving catering business was born out of this success. 

Vasi moved to Maui in 1992 where she worked with the Hawaii Pacific Regional Cuisine Chefs, traveling throughout the state and shaping her talent in this unique cuisine. In 1996 Vasi opened a Deli & Bakery and followed with a Mediterranean Bistro. 

In 2004 Vasi developed a line of products for Costco derived from her popular catering menus, featuring specialty dips and baked goods.  Since 2008 Vasi’s focus has been developing her gourmet dips and baked goods for distribution island wide and on the mainland.  She continues with her Catering business hosting many events on the island of Maui.
